Senior Therapist Georgina is professionally trained in Ear Candling since 2012.
What is Ear Candling?
A trained therapist will insect your ear canal and then insert a professionally made bees wax ear candle into your ear and light the top end. Making sure a correct seal has been made they will hold the candle in position whilst stimulating movement through the estuation tube with light head and face massage. Due to using a live flame safety measures are taken at the appointment including a towel over the head to prevent ash dropping in your hair as well as a fire blanket within arms reach.
What will the ear Candling feel like?
Clients are advised they may hear a light cracking or buzzing sound during the candling and a sensation of warmth through the ear and head. Most clients will feel a deep sensation of lightness in their face and release of sinus pressure.
What happens in a usual Ear Candling treatment?
Georgina will discuss the process of ear candling before your treatment. She will then inspect and prepare the ear before commencing the placement of the candle.
Ear Candling can be completed in a 40minute appointment or added with a neck or back massage for an appointment.
